The talented Sarah Hegger wants us to pick our three favorite fictional boyfriends.

What an incredibly difficult choice. I fall in love with a new one every time I read a book with a delicious hero.

But, if I had to narrow it to three…

Number One would have to be Cole Latimer from “Ashes in the Wind” by Kathleen Woodiwiss. He is flawed and he accepts it. He is smart and loyal and honorable. He is handsome and loving and…a doctor. It don’t get better than that.

Number Two would be Ranulf from “The Black Lyon” by Jude Devereaux.  He is brave and fearsome. A medieval bad boy with a hard heart melted by the heroine. Don’t we all dream of taming that one? I do.

Number Three would have to be Spencer from the Robert B. Parker novels. Spencer is cool as a cucumber, intelligent, loyal. He stands up for what’s right and defends his friends. And he loves his girlfriend. He thinks the sun rises and sets because of her. *heavy sigh*

I could probably name a hundred more and I hope I haven’t hurt any fictional hero’s feelings by not including him in my list. Truth be told, I love you all and my life is so much better because of you!

Now, let’s see which men populate the dreams of the incredible Sarah Hegger. And don’t forget to buy a copy of her newest release, “Sweet Bea”. Talk about a hero who starts out as a bad boy….
